कल निफ्टी की 4 कंपनियों के नतीजे आने हैं। विप्रो, बजाज ऑटो, कोटक महिंद्रा बैंक और आरबीएल बैंक के नतीजों पर कल नजर रहेगी।

विप्रो :-

सीएनबीसी-आवाज़ के अनुमान के मुताबिक वित्त वर्ष 2018 की पहली तिमाही में विप्रो की रुपये में होने वाली आय 4.3 फीसदी घटकर 12828 करोड़ रुपये पर आ सकती हो जो वित्त वर्ष 2017 की चौथी तिमाही में 13402 करोड़ रुपये थी।

वित्त वर्ष 2018 की पहली तिमाही में विप्रो की डॉलर आय 0.3 फीसदी घटकर 194.8 करोड़ डॉलर पर आ सकती है जो वित्त वर्ष 2017 की चौथी तिमाही में 195.4 करोड़ डॉलर थी।

तिमाही आधार पर पहली तिमाही में विप्रो की एबिट 2527 करोड़ रुपये से घटकर 2121 करोड़ रुपये  हो सकती है। तिमाही दर तिमाही आधार पर अप्रैल-जून तिमाही में विप्रो की एबिट मार्जिन 18.8 फीसदी से घटकर 16.5 पर आ सकती है।

बजाज ऑटो :-

सीएनबीसी-आवाज़ के अनुमान के मुताबिक वित्त वर्ष 2018 की पहली तिमाही में बजाज ऑटो का मुनाफा 7 फीसदी घटकर 912 करोड़ रुपये हो सकता है। वित्त वर्ष 2017 की पहली तिमाही में बजाज ऑटो का मुनाफा 978 करोड़ रुपये रहा था।

Grasim Ind dips over 7% after spinning off its financial business

Grasim Industries slipped over 7% to touch its intraday low of Rs 1,013 on BSE after the stock turned ex-date to spin off its financial business.

At 12:54 PM; the stock was trading at Rs 1,062 per share, down by Rs 29 per share or 2.66%. The stock had closed at Rs 1306 per share on BSE in previous trading session and the share price has got adjusted in Wednesday’s trade. A combined 2.94 million equity shares changed hands on the counter on BSE and NSE so far.

Balaji Telefilms gains over 5% ahead of plans to raise funds

Balaji Telefilms advanced over 5% during Wednesday’s trade on the BSE ahead of its board meeting on Thursday in which various fund-raising options will be considered.

In a BSE filing post market hours on Monday, the company said that a meeting of the board of directors will be held on July 20, 2017, to consider various fund raising options including raising funds through issue of securities on preferential basis, subject to approval of the shareholders of the company and other necessary approvals, if any.

Balaji Telefilms was trading at Rs 191.60, up by Rs 7.70 or 4.19% as at 1200 hours on Wednesday, on the BSE. The stock has hit an intraday high of Rs 194.90.

Nifty50 is eyeing towards 9900 level whereas BSE Sensex is gaining over 170 points to trade near its intra-day high level.

BSE Telecom is the top gaining index on Wednesday. It is up by 2.0% at 1431. Bharti Airtel is majorly contributing to the index gains and pulling it to higher level.

Bharti Airtel is up 2.5% at Rs 418.60 per share on BSE.

Other stocks in the index viz. Idea is up 4.5% at 91.15 per share, Sterlite Technologies is up 3.4% at Rs 163.50 per share, Himachal Futuristic Communications is up 3.2% at Rs 15.42 per share, OnMobile is up 2.1% at Rs 72.60 per share and Reliance Communications is up 1.9% at Rs 24.15 per share.

At 12 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,874 up 163 points, while Nifty is trading at 9878 up 51 points. A total of 35 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 15 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

Moody's maintains Yes Bank's international rating at Baa3 with stable outlook (unchanged)

Yes Bank Limited's (Yes Bank) Baa3/Prime-3 foreign-currency deposit ratings are underpinned by the bank's Baseline Credit Assessment (BCA) of ba1 and one notch of government support. Yes Bank's BCA of ba1 reflects the bank's sound asset quality, consistent profitability and small but rapidly growing franchise compared with its Indian banking sector peers.

Asset quality remained fairly resilient compared with other Indian banks for the past five years but there has been some slippages in recent quarters, with gross NPL ratio increasing to 1.52% as of the end of March 2017 from 0.76% a year earlier.

In addition, the overall pool of stressed and restructured assets increased to 2.96% of gross loans as of the end of March 2017, compared with 1.49% a year earlier. At the end of March 2017, Yes Bank's reported Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio improved to 11.4% on the back of a INR49 billion ($750 million) capital raise via qualified institutional placement.

Nifty FMCG index is the top loser among the sectoral indices on NSE. The index is trading at 25672 level, down by 1718 points or 6.27%. ITC is the top loser in FMCG index trading at around Rs 287 per share, down by Rs 38 points or 11.73%. ITC has 7.5% weightage in Nifty index.

Other FMCG stocks like MCDowell was down by 0.99%; Dabur was down by 0.88%; GSK was down by 0.63%; Tata Global was down by 0.56%; Marico was down by 0.49%. There were 669 advances, 811 declines and 470 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly negative undertone floating in the market.

At 10 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31902 down 171 points, while Nifty is trading at 9881 down 34 points. A total of 27 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

BSE Realty index was surging higher shoulder to shoulder with the benchmark indices. Unitech was contributing majorly to the Realty index gains.

Unitech soared a whopping 16.60% at Rs 8.92 per share. The stock also traded on a new 52-week high of Rs 9.18 per share on BSE. The stock has spurted in volume by more than 2.48 times and also breached its upper circuit of Rs 9.18 per share.

Other stocks in the index include Indiabulls Real Estate gained 3.9% at Rs 204.80 per share, Godrej Properties gained 2.1% at Rs 514.55 per share, DLF gained 1.3% at Rs 204.00 per share, HDIL is up 1.3% at Rs 85.75 per share and Omaxe gained 0.9% at Rs 206.25 per share.

Won't let TCS go away from Lucknow: UP Finance Minister

Amid reports that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest software player may shut down its unit in Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh government, on Sunday, stated that it will not let TCS go out of the state capital.

"We will not let it (TCS) go from the state capital. We will look into it," UP Finance Minister, Rajesh Agarwal said.

It has also been reported that TCS employees have approached Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to look into the matter.

Agarwal's assurance came after UP ministers Swami Prasad Maurya and Mohsin Raza assured the employees last week that their interests would be protected.
"There have been rumours and reports being circulated in the media about the company's operations in Lucknow. TCS would like to clarify that it is only consolidating its UP operations in Noida and there will be no job loss as a consequence," a TCS spokesperson had said in a statement.

HCL Technologies stock jumped as the board is scheduled to meet on July 27 to consider payment of second interim dividend for FY2017-18.

The record date for determining the entitlement of shareholders towards the payment of second interim dividend is August 4, 2017, subject to approval by the board of directors.

Bank Nifty opened above 24K mark for the first time ever at 24011 level, up by 73 points on Monday.

ICICI Bank was top gainer in the index trading at Rs 301.25 per share, up by Rs 3 per share or 1.01%.

Kotak Bank was second top gainer in the index trading at Rs 981.75 per share, up by Rs 4.55 per share or 0.47%.

Other bank stocks like PNB, IndusInd Bank, Bank of Baroda and Axis Bank were losing sheen in the morning hours on Monday.

Biocon hits record high; soars over 10%

The stock of Biocon Ltd. surged over 10% during Friday’s trade to hit its record high of Rs 404 riding on the USFDA’s Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee (ODAC) recommendation of approval of its proposed biosimilar trastuzumab.

The committee voted 16-0 in support of eligible indications of the reference product, Herceptin, which include HER2-positive breast cancer in the metastatic and adjuvant settings, informed Biocon in a BSE filing on Friday.

Biocon Ltd. was trading at Rs 400.70, up by Rs 34.05 or 9.29% as at 1457 hours on Friday, on the BSE. The stock has hit an intraday high of Rs 404, which is also its record high.

Oz govt in final stages of granting loan to Adani Enterprises

The Australian government is in its final stages of granting loan to Adani Enterprises, reported a global news agency on Friday.

Adani Enterprises is awaiting a concessional loan of around USD 700 million from the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF), a government agency to help the company build a 380-km rail link into its controversial Carmichael project located in the remote Galilee Basin.

Adani's proposed Carmichael mine in Queensland state has faced years of delays amid opposition from environmental groups who argue it will contribute to global warming and damage the Great Barrier Reef.

Adani Enterprises was trading at Rs 139.15, down by Rs 1.70 or 1.21% as at 1127 hours on Friday, on the BSE.

ICICI Group, ICICI Securities Primary Dealership on July 13, 2017 bought one lakh shares of e-commerce firm, Infibeam Incorporation for over Rs 11 crore through open market transactions. These shares were sold by Next Orbit Ventures Fund.

According to the data available on the BSE, ICICI Group has purchased 1 lakh shares, or 0.18% stake in the e-commerce company. The shares were acquired at an average price of Rs 1,107.5, valuing the transaction at Rs 11.07 crore.

Today, Infibeam Incorporation was trading at Rs 1,131.30, up by 0.57 % on BSE at 0953 hours. It opened at Rs 1,139.80 while on Thursday it closed at Rs 1,124.90. CDSL extend gains for seventh straight trading session

Day by day, the popularity of CDSL has been rising. The stock is gaining for the seventh consecutive trading session on Friday. If the historical prices of CDSL are taken into consideration, the percentage deliverable quantity to the traded quantity was below 20% for the past few trading sessions.

The total traded volume stood at 63,22,975 shares and traded value stood at Rs 302.87 crore as of 1002 hours on Friday.

At 9:15 AM, the BSE Sensex opened higher by 62 points at 32099, while the Nifty50 opened higher by 21.6 points at 9913.3 mark.

Infosys was top Sensex gainer trading at Rs 1003.1 per share, up by 2.75% whereas TCS was top Sensex loser trading at Rs 2388.4 per share, down by 2.28%. There were 637 advances, 314 declines and 40 unchanged stocks on BSE reflecting mixed sentiments floating in the market.

Nifty and Sensex touched their all-time high of 9881 and 32031 level in the morning hours on Thursday.

Mid-cap and small-cap stocks have also joined the upward rally of major indices in the market. BSE Mid-cap index touched its all-time high of 15205 level, up by 121 points while BSE Small-cap index also touched its life-time high of 16003 level, up by 106 points.

NLC India was top gainer in BSE Mid-cap index as of 0955 hours trading at Rs 109.5 per share, up by 2.77%. Other mid-cap stocks like Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindustan Petroleum, Adani Enterprises, ABB and Marico were among the gaining stocks in mid-cap segment.

Ruby Mills was top gainer in BSE Small-cap index trading at Rs 428.8 per share, up by 14.71%. Shivam Auto, Inox Wind, Rico Auto, Subex, Shilpi Cable and Global Offshore Services were among the gainers in small-cap segment.

Opening Bell - Nifty, Sensex opens at all-time high

At 9:15 AM, the BSE Sensex opened higher by 91 points at 31896, while the Nifty50 opened higher by 21 points at the 9807 mark.

ITC was top Sensex gainer and was trading at Rs 333.8 per share, up by 1.55% whereas ONGC was top Sensex loser and was trading at Rs 162 per share, down by 0.09% at the opening bell on Thursday.

There were 995 advances, 375 declines and 475 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positive sentiments in the market. All the sectoral indices on BSE were trading in positive territory.

BSE Mid-cap index was trading at 15177 level, up by 93 points while BSE Small-cap index was trading at 15981 level, up by 84 points. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation was top gainer in Mid-cap index while Lypsa Gems was top gainer in Small-cap index.

दिनभर ज्यादातर समय तक सीमित दायरे में रहने के बाद आज घरेलू बाजार रिकॉर्ड स्तरों पर बंद होने में कामयाब हुए हैं। निफ्टी पहली बार 9800 के पार बंद हुआ है। आज के कारोबार में निफ्टी ने 9824.95 तक दस्तक दी, जबकि सेंसेक्स 31865.7 तक पहुंचने में कामयाब हुआ। अंत में निफ्टी 9820 के आसपास बंद हुआ है, तो सेंसेक्स 31800 के ऊपर बंद हुआ है।

मिडकैप और स्मॉलकैप शेयरों में भी अच्छा जोश नजर आया है। बीएसई का मिडकैप इंडेक्स 1.1 फीसदी की मजबूती के साथ बंद हुआ है, जबकि निफ्टी के मिडकैप 100 इंडेक्स में 0.7 फीसदी की बढ़त दर्ज की गई है। बीएसई के स्मॉलकैप इंडेक्स 0.6 फीसदी बढ़कर बंद हुआ है।

Markets hit fresh record of closing highs

Nifty closed at 9,816 level, up by 30 points and Sensex closed at 31,804 level, up by 57 points on July 12.

Broader market indices gained the most in Wednesday’s trade, outperforming the major indices in the market. BSE Mid-cap index closed at 15,084 level, up by 161 points or 1.08% while BSE Small-cap index closed at 15,897 level, up by 90 points or 0.57%.

Biocon was the top gainer in the BSE Mid-cap index closed at Rs 367.3 per share, up by 13.68%. Lypsa Gems was the top gainer in the BSE Small-cap index closed at Rs 45.7 per share, up by nearly 20%.

Bank Nifty index had a volatile trade on one day before its weekly expiry on Wednesday. Private sector banks like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank and Axis Bank closed higher pushing the Bank Nifty in positive territory in closing hours. Adani Enterprises spikes over 5%

The stock of Adani Enterprises gained over 5% during Wednesday’s trade on the BSE.

The company, in a BSE filing on Tuesday, informed that its board meeting will be held on Thursday, 13 July 2017.

Adani Enterprises was trading at Rs 140.55, up by Rs 7.20 or 5.40% as at 1242 hours on Wednesday, on the BSE. The stock had hit an intraday high of Rs 140.80.

Tata Steel divests from JV company, stock at 52-week high

Tata Steel, in a BSE filing post market hours on Tuesday, said that the company has divested its entire equity stake in a 50% joint venture company Tata Elastron S.A. to Elastron S.A.

The stock of Tata Steel touched a 52-week high of Rs 561.95, gaining 1% in the early morning trade on Wednesday.

The company has entered into an agreement for stake sale on July 10 and received Euro 0.368 million from the divestment of stakes.

Tata Steel was trading at Rs 558.30, up by Rs 1.25 or 0.22% as at 1049 hours on Wednesday, on the BSE. The stock had hit an intraday high of Rs 561.95.

Market regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is seeking a detailed report from NSE for the temporary halting of exchange on Monday. However, the market analysts are speculating the reasons for this technical glitch. As per market analysts, SEBI’s move to ban P-notes on derivatives led to an increase in the derivative trading volume as investors unwound their P-note positions. They speculate that this could be the reason for NSE’s temporary halt on Monday. SEBI in a recent announcement said that the P-notes based derivatives will no longer be issued.

Live Stock Market Updates: Nifty above 9800; Bank Nifty turns red

Nifty has slipped from its day’s high of 9823 level. The index has strong support at 9709 level whereas 9825 can be the immediate resistance level.

Bank Nifty index was trading in negative territory at 23567 level, down by 11 points. Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Kotak Bank and ICICI Bank are among the losers in Bank Nifty index.

Broader market indices have been outperforming major indices in the market. Kirloskar Electric Company was top gainer in BSE Small-cap index trading at Rs 49.25 per share, up by 12.31%.

Tilaknagar Industries was second top gainer in BSE Small-cap index, trading at Rs 14.2 per share, up by 12.08%.

At 10 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31815 up 68 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9810 up 23 points. A total of 34 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.39% at 14981, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.37% at 15864.

Opening Bell - Nifty opens above 9800; Bharti Airtel top gainer

At 9:15 AM, the BSE Sensex opened higher by 66 points at 31813, while the Nifty50 opened higher by 21 points at the 9807 mark.

Bharti Airtel was top Sensex gainer and was trading at Rs 401.1 per share, up by 1.43% whereas TCS was top Sensex loser and was trading at Rs 2449 per share, down by 0.9% at the opening bell on Wednesday.

There were 988 advances, 435 declines and 481 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positive sentiments in the market. There was some buying activity in  Telecom, Auto, Capital Goods while some selling activity was seen in IT sector on BSE.

BSE Mid-cap index was trading at 14970 level, up by 47 points while BSE Small-cap index was trading at 15854 level, up by 48 points. Biocon was top gainer in Mid-cap index while KECL was top gainer in Small-cap index.

Important quarterly financial results to watch out for is Bajaj Corp. The stock was trading at Rs 400.9 per share, up by 1.21% on BSE at the opening bell.

The rupee opened at 64.51 per USD, higher by 8 paise.

Gujarat State Fertilisers tanks as plant shuts

Gujarat State Fertilisers stock tanked 0.08% at Rs 124.35 per share on BSE post lunch hours.

The company on Monday has announced that it has shut down its ammonia-IV plant on July 6, 2017 due to detection of leakage of high-pressure process gas from hot header of reformer box.

Urea-II plant was also shutdown due to non-availability of CO2 gas which is by-product of ammonia-IV plant. All other plants of GSFC are operational with a supply of ammonia from ammonia storage tanks.

Meanwhile, the stock has attracted a traded volume of 9,20,346 shares and a traded value of Rs 1,140.86 lakh on NSE.

As per market observers, the company has been maintaining a dividend payout of 22.73%.

Alembic Pharma jumped 6% during Tuesday’s trade on the BSE after the company said that it has received US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) tentative approval for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for Dabigatran Etexilate Capsules, 150 mg.

 “The tentative approved ANDA is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product (RLD) PRADAXA Dabigatran Etexilate Mesylate Capsules, Eq to 150 mg base, Boehringer Ingelheim,” said Alembic Pharma in a BSE filing on Monday.

Alembic Pharma was trading at Rs 541.10, up by Rs 25 or 4.84% as at 1306 hours on Tuesday, on the BSE. The stock had hit an intraday high of Rs 545.

SEBI approves resuming trading operations in ICEX

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has given its approval to Reliance Capital anchored, Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX) for resuming its trading operations.

After a gap of three years as the bourse has complied with all SEBI mandated norms, the exchange will resume its trading operations by the end of next month.

ICEX, a screen-based online derivatives exchange for commodities, has already received approval from SEBI for the commencement of business and trading operations for diamond. It has applied for crude and Brent oil contracts.

Recently, ICEX announced that National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE) will merge with itself. Reliance Capital, part of Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group, is the largest investor in the exchange.

European markets higher following G-20 talks

Markets in Europe were higher during Monday’s trade as world leaders met over the weekend in Hamburg at the 12th G-20 talks wherein global issues such as trade, climate change and defence were discussed.

F&O: Immediate resistance for Bank Nifty at 24000

Bank Nifty has extended its gains to trade at 23670 level, up by 221 points or 0.94%. Bank Nifty’s up-move is led by PSU bank stocks like Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bank of Baroda and Canara Bank. PNB was up by 6.17%, BoB was up by 3.89% and Canara Bank was up by 3.63%.

Bank Nifty futures of July series was trading at 23702 level at a premium of 32 points. On the options front, Bank Nifty 13-July 23700 CE and 23500 PE witnessed maximum addition in their open interests.

There was long built up positions in Bank Nifty call options expiring on 13 July while the put options witnessed short built up position reflecting strong bullish undertone in Bank Nifty index. Immediate resistance level for Bank Nifty may be placed at 24000.

Tata Motors advances post JLR sales data

Tata Motors gained over 2% in the early morning trade on Monday, on the BSE after its British luxury unit Jaguar Land Rover reported 11% rise in sales at 51,591 units in June 2017 over June 2016.

“Retail sales for Jaguar Land Rover reached 51,591 vehicles this month, up 11.0% on June 2016, Retail sales for the first quarter totalled 132,463 vehicles, up 3.5% compared to the same quarter last year,” said Tata Motors in a BSE filing in the post market hours on Friday, on the BSE.

The stock of Tata Motors was trading at Rs 446.50, up by Rs 9.70 or 2.22 as at 1026 hours on Monday, on the BSE. The stock had hit an intraday high of Rs 457.50.

Tata Motors Ltd is currently trading at Rs 447.85, up by Rs 11.05 or 2.53% from its previous closing of Rs 436.8 on the BSE.

IDFC-Shriram kickstart 90-day merger talks

Chennai-based Shriram Group and IDFC on Saturday announced exploratory merger talks between the two groups during a 90 day time period.

As per the proposed terms, Shriram City Union Finance and Shriram Capital will be merged with IDFC Bank.

Whereas, Shriram Transport Finance Company will continue to operate as a 100% subsidiary of IDFC and ultimately be delisted post the merger.

Similarly, the insurance business of Shriram will be transferred to IDFC, with IDFC holding close to 75% in both life and general insurance businesses.

The merger is still subject to several approvals from IRDA, SEBI, RBI, NSE and BSE and would take around 12 months for internal and regulatory approvals.

Shriram Capital chairman, Ajay Piramal on Saturday disclosed that it will be an arrangement for 90 days to jointly explore merger options, also adding that no valuations and transactions have taken place.

At 9:15 AM, the BSE Sensex opened higher by 149 points at 31360, while the Nifty50 opened higher by 29.2 points at the 9695 mark.

Tata Power was the top Nifty gainer trading higher by 8.94% at Rs 89 per share while BPCL was top Nifty loser trading lower by 1.95% at Rs 651 per share.

The Nifty50 index has immediate support placed at the levels of 9,630 and 9,600. On the upside, major hurdle is placed in the region of 9,700-9,710. If Nifty sustains above the levels of 9,700-9,710, it may higher up to the levels of 9,750-9,780.

FMCG stocks for the week after GST

The equity market data for the first week after the GST rollout was contrary to the expectation that the FMCG sector would get a boost post-GST. Nifty FMCG index was down by 1.15% in the week that ended on Friday.

In a new directive post-GST, the Consumer Affairs Ministry provided guidelines to FMCG companies for the clearance of unsold pre-packaged items lying with manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers. The new guidelines allow companies to print, stamp or use stickers to show the new MRP on pre-GST product packages. FMCG companies are worried about the impact of this guideline on their sales.

The directive may deter some FMCG companies from raising prices to absorb the higher tax rates applicable under GST and thereby significantly impact their profitability. This might have caused some FMCG stocks to decline in the past week.
