Mid-cap & Small-cap indices at life-time high
Nifty and Sensex touched their all-time high of 9881 and 32031 level in the morning hours on Thursday.
Mid-cap and small-cap stocks have also joined the upward rally of major indices in the market. BSE Mid-cap index touched its all-time high of 15205 level, up by 121 points while BSE Small-cap index also touched its life-time high of 16003 level, up by 106 points.
NLC India was top gainer in BSE Mid-cap index as of 0955 hours trading at Rs 109.5 per share, up by 2.77%. Other mid-cap stocks like Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindustan Petroleum, Adani Enterprises, ABB and Marico were among the gaining stocks in mid-cap segment.
Ruby Mills was top gainer in BSE Small-cap index trading at Rs 428.8 per share, up by 14.71%. Shivam Auto, Inox Wind, Rico Auto, Subex, Shilpi Cable and Global Offshore Services were among the gainers in small-cap segment.
