KEC International bags order worth Rs 1,845 crore

KEC International Ltd, an RPG group company, has secured new orders of Rs 1,845 crore.

In Transmission and Distribution business, the company has secured orders of Rs 1,684 crore.

An EPC order for construction of 765kV and 400kV transmission lines from a TBCB developer in Western and Southern India.

A turnkey order for construction of 400 kV Transmission lines in South India from Power Grid  Corporation. The company has  also received supply orders from America.

An order of construction of 400 kV & 200 kV substations in South India for Yettinahole integrated water project.

In Cables business, the company has secured orders supply/EPC orders of Rs 161 crore.  

Meanwhile, the stock traded in the positive territory gaining 3.07% at Rs 275 per share on BSE on Monday’s intraday trade.

Stock view :-

K E C International Ltd is currently trading at Rs 272.05, up by Rs 5.25 or 1.97% from its previous closing of Rs 266.8 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 274 and has touched a high and low of Rs 277.05 and Rs 271.1 respectively. So far 81838(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 6859.12 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 283.5 on 01-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 111.2 on 09-Nov-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 268.2 and Rs 254.5 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.86 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.45 % and 16.69 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
