CDSL extend gains for seventh straight trading session


Day by day, the popularity of CDSL has been rising. The stock is gaining for the seventh consecutive trading session on Friday. If the historical prices of CDSL are taken into consideration, the percentage deliverable quantity to the traded quantity was below 20% for the past few trading sessions.

The total traded volume stood at 63,22,975 shares and traded value stood at Rs 302.87 crore as of 1002 hours on Friday.

The stock had touched its upper circuit for the first time on Thursday. The stock gained 198% as compared to its issue price of Rs 149 per share, while it has gained nearly 77% as against its listing price of Rs 250 per share. CDSL is the only listed company in its sector.

Its IPO issue was oversubscribed by 170 times, which makes it the most subscribed IPO issue of 2017.

Stock View:

Central Depository Services (India) Ltd is currently trading at Rs 470, up by Rs 25.7 or 5.78% from its previous closing of Rs 444.3 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 471.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs 486 and Rs 466.1 respectively. So far 15969498(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4642.94 crore.

The BSE group '' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 444.3 on 13-Jul-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 243.15 on 03-Jul-2017. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 444.3 and Rs 290 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 0 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0 % and 0 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 200 DMA.
