SML Isuzu: Sales dip, slips by 3%
SML Isuzu Limited sold around 1052 vehicles in the month of May 2017 against 1929 vehicles sold in May 2016, reflecting a decline of 45.5% on Y-o-Y basis. The company's sales witnessed a steep drop this year in comparison to previous year.
The company had sold around 768 vehicles in April 2017 as compared to 1404 vehicles sold in April 2016 reflecting a Y-o-Y decline of 45.3%.
It's first of June and the automobile companies have started reporting their monthly sales data. The auto stocks have been moving according to the sales data. After the release of sales data by SML Isuzu Limited, the stock tumbled to its intraday low of Rs 1226 per share down by 2.86% as of 1411 hours on Thursday.

SML ISUZU Ltd is currently trading at Rs 1251, down by Rs 11.2 or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs 1262.2 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 1280 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1280 and Rs 1226 respectively. So far 49580(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1826.4 crore.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1433.85 on 31-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 952 on 31-May-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1299 and Rs 1223 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.96 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.42 % and 48.61 % respectively.
The stock is currently trading below its 50 DMA.
