Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Motors DVR pare morning gains
Kotak Mahindra Bank and Tata Motors DVR have pared their early gains on Monday. These shares were trading higher during the morning trades on the back of their inclusion in the Sensex.
State-owned GAIL (India) Limited was excluded from the index with effect from June 19, 2017. Tata Motors with differential voting rights is the first Differential Voting Right (DVR) to be included in the BSE Sensex.
Tata Motors DVR has been part of the benchmark Nifty index since April 2016. DVRs differ from common equity shares in terms of voting rights and dividend. Consequently, they usually trade at a discount and may offer higher dividends for the surrender of the voting rights.
As of June 18, 2017, the market capitalisation of Kotak Mahindra Bank and Tata Motors stood at Rs 1,87,552 and Rs 1,31,518 crore, respectively.

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is currently trading at Rs 987.05, up by Rs 1.5 or 0.15% from its previous closing of Rs 985.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 987.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs 993 and Rs 985.4 respectively. So far 296291(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 187571.73 crore.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 990.6 on 12-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 692.4 on 04-Jan-2017. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 990.6 and Rs 961.1 respectively.
