Bharti Airtel touches 4-month high; stock soars over 2%

Bharti Airtel on Thursday has hit a four-month high of Rs 386, higher by 2.4% on BSE. It extended its 3% gains of the last two trading sessions. The stock is 4% away from its 52-week high of Rs 401.

The stock was trading higher by 1.9% at Rs 384.70 per share at 1211 hours on BSE. It hit a high of Rs 386.45 and a low of Rs 376.95 so far during the day.

Bharti Airtel has outperformed the market by gaining 11% as compared to 3.5% rise in BSE Sensex since May 10, 2017, reported a leading news agency.

Bharti Airtel Limited is a global telecommunications company. Its product offerings include 2G, 3G and 4G wireless services, mobile commerce, fixed line services, high-speed home broadband, DTH and enterprise services.

Stock View :-

Bharti Airtel Ltd is currently trading at Rs 383.5, up by Rs 6.15 or 1.63% from its previous closing of Rs 377.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 377 and has touched a high and low of Rs 386.45 and Rs 376.95 respectively. So far 1238909(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 150841.89 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 400.65 on 23-Feb-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 283.95 on 09-Nov-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 381.5 and Rs 362 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.14 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.37 % and 6.46 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.

F&O: Put writing at all immediate strikes shows Nifty may hold up  The Nifty50 index opened in the negative but managed to recover sharply from lower levels and headed towards the 10,750 level on Wednesday. It formed a Piercing Line pattern on the daily scale, as it recovered its losses of the last session by more than a half. It has been making lower lows from last four sessions and holds above the 10,750-10,777 zone can negate the same to extend its recent bounce towards 10,850 and then 10,929 levels.  Nifty has reclaimed its 50-day EMA while on the downside it has support at 10,650 and then 10,600 levels.  On the options front, maximum Put OI was at 10,000 followed by 10,500 and 10,700 levels, while maximum Call OI was at 11,000 followed by 10,900 level.
