Lupin trades green in morning hours on Friday

Lupin Limited traded in negative territory for the first few minutes of Friday’s trade but turned green thereafter. The stock witnessed marginally lower opening by 0.8% at Rs 1131 per share.

Within first 20 minutes of trading on Friday, the stock turned green and is now trading marginally higher by 0.43% at Rs 1145.1 per share on NSE as of 0931 hours.

Many of the pharma stocks on NSE have been trading near their 52-week lows. The investors turned cautious as the market analysts are posting their negative concerns over the Lupin’s US business. The price environment in US market is majorly responsible for the big sell-off in the stock in past few trading sessions.

The stock, however, has lost around 13% in the past five trading session. On Thursday, the stock witnessed 45.05% of deliverable quantity to traded quantity.

Stock View :-

Lupin Ltd is currently trading at Rs 1138.05, up by Rs 0.1 or 0.01% from its previous closing of Rs 1137.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 1138 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1163.6 and Rs 1121.75 respectively. So far 660585(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 51397.91 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1750 on 29-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 1108 on 25-May-2017. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1326.5 and Rs 1108 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.69 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.24 % and 12.06 % respectively.
 The stock is currently trading below its 200 DMA.
