Live Stock Market Updates – Nifty off day’s high, Sensex hovers around 30,600, ITC at record high

The BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods is the top gaining index in the morning session on Monday. The index is trading up 2.3% at 9850. ITC is contributing heavily to the index gains and lifting it to higher levels.

ITC is trading at Rs 299.35 per share, up by 4.7%.

Other stocks in the index such as LT Foods is up by 8.7% at Rs 78 per share, Waterbase is up by 5% at Rs 110 per share, Kohinoor Foods is up by 5% at Rs 87 per share, KRBL is up 3.5% at Rs 444 per share and S H Kelkar & Company is trading at Rs 298 per share, up by 3.3%.
The stocks in the index that are trading in the red zone are Avanti Feeds and Triveni Engineering.
Meanwhile, Shakti Pumps is buzzing on the BSE. It is up by 15.6% at Rs 374 per share.


At 10 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30,600 up 135 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9453 up 25 points. A total of 28 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 18 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.17% at 14,619, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.28% at 15,269.
Some buying activity is seen in FMCG, Telecom and Realty indices, while Energy, Healthcare and Utilities indices are showing weakness on BSE.

ITC, TCS, Tata Motors and Bharti Infratel are among the gainers, Tata Power, Lupin, GAIL and BPCL are losing on the NSE.
The INDIA VIX is up 3.7% at 11.7.
