Global cues for D-Street on Thursday
Here is a look at some of the top global cues that you need to know before hitting D-Street on Thursday:
Singapore trading sets stage for gap-down opening: At 6.05 am, Nifty50 futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange were trading 64.50 points, or 0.68%, lower at 9,469, indicating a negative opening for the domestic market.
Global markets weak: Asian markets were trading lower in early morning trade. In overnight trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 372.82 points, or 1.78%, to settle at 20,606. The S&P500 index tanked 43.64 points, or 1.82%, to 2,357 while the Nasdaq Composite index slipped 158.63 points, or 2.57%, to 6,011.24.
Watch out for Q4 results: AB Nuvo, Bajaj Auto, Bank of Baroda, Coffee Day Enterprises, Cummins India, DB Corp, IDBI Bank, Jyothy Labs and VIP Industries are some of the BSE-listed companies scheduled to report quarterly earnings on Thursday.
