Central Bank of India to raise capital worth Rs 6500 crore
Central Bank of India on Friday informed that it intends to raise equity capital upto Rs 6500 crore during the financial year 2017-18, through various modes such as preferential issue, QIP, rights issue, FPO etc. subject to statutory approvals.
The board of directors will consider the proposal for approval of shareholders at its meeting on May 23, 2017.
Central Bank of India is down 0.86% at Rs 115.90 per share at 15:00 hours IST on BSE. It hit a high of Rs 119 and a low of Rs 112.20 so far during the day.
On the NSE, the traded volume of shares is 5,71,553, whereas the traded value is Rs 664.94 lakhs. The market capitalisation of the company is Rs 3553.26 crore.

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs 115.15, down by Rs 1.75 or 1.5% from its previous closing of Rs 116.9 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 117.6 and has touched a high and low of Rs 119 and Rs 112.2 respectively. So far 698588(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 22236.38 crore.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 123.2 on 10-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 73.1 on 24-May-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 122 and Rs 107.05 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.28 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.47 % and 4.25 % respectively
The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
